Batch Editing is a feature that enables you to make large scale changes to your Powtoon with a single action.
Currently, only background color can be batch edited.
Color
You can change the background color on a single slide, and have that change effect every other slide where the same background color was used.
Changing the Background color
- On the stage, select the slide with the background you want to change
- Click on
- Select the Color Picker
- Select the new color, and click "Apply to matching colors.
Check it out!
In this example, every slide with an light green background will be replaced with a dark green background
Note: It will take a few seconds until the slide thumbnails on the left side are updated with the new changes.
Why can't I use the batch edit feature?
There are a number of reasons why you may not see the option to batch edit in your Powtoon. Below you will find an explanation of the most common issues.
There are no items to batch
If there are no other matching backgrounds in your Powtoon, then the option to "Apply to matching colors" will not appear.
A Color has not been selected for the object
When selecting a background, if you see this symbol 
you will not be able to use the "Apply to matching colors".
