Understanding the Sound Control Panel

The Sound Control panel is used to manage the sound that you have added to your Powtoon.

To access the sound control panel, click the sound control button in the bottom left corner of the slide.

The controls available to you in the Sound Control panel depend on the type of sound that you have added. In the example below, both music and a voiceover have been added.

  1. The note symbol indicates that the Powtoon contains music.
  1. The name of the soundtrack added to the Powtoon.
  1. Click 2023-02-16_11-07-08.png to swap the current music for a different soundtrack.
  1. Click 2023-02-16_11-35-46.png to remove the soundtrack.
  1. Volume slider for the soundtrack file added to the entire Powtoon.
  1. The microphone symbol on the blue background indicates that the Powtoon contains a voiceover.
  1. The name of the voiceover file added to the current slide.
  1. Click 2023-02-16_11-07-08.png to swap the current voiceover file for a different voiceover.
  1. Click 2023-02-16_11-35-46.png to remove the voiceover from the current slide.
  1. Volume slider for the voiceover file added to the current slide.
  1. Click Play Together to play all the sounds added to the slide simultaneously, in order to adjust the volume of the different sounds accordingly.
