Option 1
- Click on the Audio button ( ) on the from the library menu on the right side of the screen.
- Click on Text to speech.
Option 2
- Click the upload media button
- Click Voiceover.
Click Text to Speech.
Adding Text to Speech to the Timeline
- Add your text to the main text box.
- Select the voice actor you wish to use.
- Click Generate to preview your audio file.
Using Text to Speech for Lip-Sync
- Select a lip-sync supported Character, and click on the voice button ( ).
- Select Text to Speech from the drop down menu.
- Add your text to the main text box.
- Select the voice actor you wish to use.
- Click Generate to preview your audio file.
Editing Text to Speech
Once a Text to Speech Audio file has been created, you can go back and edit it as needed. This will create a new copy of the audio file, rather then replacing the existing one.
- In the My Voiceover section, locate the text to speech audio, and click the 3 dots
- Click Edit.
- The Text to Speech Module will open, and you can make changes to your Text to Speech.
- Click Generate.
- When you select 'Save voiceover', a new copy of the file will be generated. The original Text to Speech file will remain unchanged.
