Sharing Your Powtoon with a Team Member

When you create a new Powtoon, only you can see and edit it.
If you'd like to work on your Powtoon with a team member, you'll first need to share the Powtoon with your (or any other) team.

You can share your Powtoon with any team that you belong to.

Before sharing your Powtoon, note the following:
1.  Any Powtoon that you share with a team can be edited by all the team's members.

2.  A team member with whom you've shared your Powtoon has permission to share the
     Powtoon with other teams. These may also be teams that you do not belong to.

  1. Go to the Powtoon Workspace.
  1. In your Toolbox (My Powtoons), locate the Powtoon that you want to share.
    ► If the Powtoon was not saved recently, you will need to click 2023-02-23_12-03-17.png to view all your Powtoons, or click View All.

  1. Click the three dots by the Powtoon and then select Share with team.

  1. Toggle the switch to the right to select the teams with which you want to share your Powtoon.
    ► If you want to share your Powtoon with all the teams to which you belong, click the three dots by All (Teams) and then click Select all teams.
    ► If you want to notify the team members via email, select Notify members via email.

  1. Click Apply.

Hovering over the share icon displays the teams with which the Powtoon is shared.

The team members with whom you've shared your Powtoon will immediately see the shared Powtoon in their Workspace.
