Using the Admin Lock

You need to have Org Admin permissions in order to perform the actions described in this article.
 
The Admin Lock feature allows you to add another level on control over your organizations branding needs. Using this feature, you can lock any object in the studio in place. This is ideal for key objects, such as your logo, characters, or text.
 

Locking an Object

  1. Select the object you wish to lock. In this example, we will use the admin lock on the large blue padlock.

  1. Click on the Settings Icon setting button wheel.png.
  2. Click on the Admin lock option.

This object has now been placed under an Admin lock. You can identify a locked object by the Admin lock badge that appears on the object, and on the timeline.

Un-Locking an Object

  1. Locate the Object you would like to unlock.
  2. Hover your mouse icon over the Admin Lock Badge.
  3. Click and hold (Long press) the Admin Lock badge until the object is unlocked. You can do this from the timeline, or on the object itself.
