  1. Link to view Powtoon can be sent within and outside the organization
    All users (internal, external, Powtoon, non-Powtoon) can now view an exported Powtoon using a unique link.

  1. Improved access to swap functionality
    The swap function can now be accessed immediately after selecting a background, video, or object, eliminating the need to access the Settings menu. The function has also been added to the right-click context menu after selecting any of the above.



  1. Improved resizing functionality
    Objects, grouped together with a text box, can now be resized by dragging a corner handle of the selection box.
    In a future version, the text will also be resized according to the size of the selection box.


  1. Improved cropping functionality
    When cropping an image within an image frame, it is now possible to distinguish between the area of the image inside the image frame and the area outside, which is translucent.


  1. Last login details added to Admin pages
    On both the Org Admin and Team Admin pages, the last login timestamp has been added to the team member's record.

New library content in the Powtoon Studio

  1. Reorganization of 'Shapes' tab
    The Shapes tab has been completely reorganized (see screenshot below). Libraries have been consolidated according to content and new content has been added to the 'Basic Shapes' and 'Chart Elements' libraries.

    1. The 'Image Frames' library has been moved from the Media tab to the Shapes tab.

    2. The 'Graphs & Charts' library has been renamed 'Chart Elements' and contains new content, including flowchart symbols.
      See Adding chart elements for more information.

    3. The majority of the content in the Shapes tab has variations, which are displayed when hovering over the original object in the library.


  1. New template for customer support training
    The slides in this template address topics relevant to training customer support representatives.
    Located in the template gallery, in the 'Training & Tutorials' category.


  1. New emergency room scenes
    Eight scenes depicting emergency room scenarios have been added to the 'Industries' library. They can be accessed by selecting the Scenes tab associated with the Modern Edge look.


  1. Props relevant to emergency room scenes have been added to the Medical library of the Modern Edge look




 
  1. Fifty new templates, specific to verticals, have been added to the template gallery.

  1. The Aviary Image Editor has been discontinued by Adobe and as a result, is no longer supported in Powtoon.
